Scrooge

In this early film adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens novel "A Christmas Carol", Seymour Hicks portrays the miserly, sour-tempered Ebenezer Scrooge. It's Christmas Eve in 19th century London, and Scrooge makes life miserable for all those around him, especially his impoverished employee Bob Cratchit (Donald Calthrop). But during the night, three spirits visit Scrooge and show him the error of his ways, and his ultimate end if he does not repent.
